Let's Talk Turkey (and Leftovers!)🍗

Thanksgiving is this week!!!! It's my favorite!

While we’re all excited for the feast, let’s not forget to take care of ourselves this holiday season.

A Few Self-Care Tips for Thanksgiving:

  • Set Boundaries: It's okay to say no to extra commitments and prioritize your own well-being.

  • Practice Mindfulness: Take a few moments to breathe and be present, especially during stressful situations.

  • Move Your Body: A short walk or a quick workout can help reduce stress and boost your mood.

Now, let's talk about those delicious leftovers!

Instead of tossing them, let's get creative. Here's a simple and satisfying recipe for a Thanksgiving Leftover Casserole:

Ingredients:

  • Leftover turkey, chopped

  • Leftover mashed potatoes

  • Leftover stuffing

  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a large bowl, combine turkey, mashed potatoes, and stuffing.

  3. Mix in cream of mushroom soup and milk.

  4. Pour mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.

  5. Top with shredded cheese.

  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until heated through and bubbly.

Enjoy your delicious leftovers and a happy Thanksgiving!

Remember, self-care is essential, even during the holidays. Take time for yourself, enjoy the festivities, and savor the delicious food.

Let's have some fun!
