Are you in a constant worry state?

Jeez, after the last two years it feels like the worrying will never end. Did you know that the anxiety and depression have increased by 25% since 2019? This is a huge number and it doesn't feel like it is going to stop anytime soon.

How are you dealing with all the pressure? It's always great to do some self-care tips, stop and breathe, meditate or do some stress busters, but sometimes that just isn't enough.

Taking care of your mental health is just as important as your physical health. It's ok to get help!! There is nothing wrong with it! Check out these signs and see if it is time that you might need to get some extra help for your anxiety.

Signs you may need to get help for anxiety

  1. You have physical symptoms. You get upset stomachs, excessive sweating, rapid heart rates and trouble breathing from everyday stressors.

  2. You have cognitive symptoms. You have trouble concentrating, remembering or have insomnia, can't sleep or are waking up worrying about the next day.

  3. Overthinking. You are worrying so much that you can't stay in the moment and your mind races with everything that can go wrong.

  4. Feeling agitated. If you feel on edge a lot of the time and don't know why, you may be anxious.

  5. Panic attacks. If you have suffered from a panic attack it may be time to get some help.

If anxiety is keeping you from social situations, working, or sleeping, it may be time to get some extra help and take care of your mental health.

There's no shame in getting help when you really need it! Get help with your doctor or a therapist.
