Taking the time out today to watch the eclipse whether it is partial or total is good for your health!
and maybe not your physical health, but it will certainly affect your mental health, which in turn helps you live longer.
Watching the eclipse, can produce feelings of awe. As Dacher Keltner, a psychologist at the University of California of Berkeley, the feeling of awe can quiet "the nagging, self-critical, overbearing, status-conscious voice of our self, or ego" and it empowers us "to collaborate, to open our minds to wonders, and to see the deep patterns of life".
So get out there and watch the eclipse wherever you are! Take the break for today and do good for your mental health.
