Stop, right now!!! Stop feeling shame for your rolls, cellulite, curves, thick thighs, big belly, or whatever it is you might not like about yourself. It's time to start respecting your body!
80% of women are dissatisfied with the way they look. That's a huge number! More than 10 million women and girls have eating disorders. Thoughts about dieting are starting in girls at earlier and earlier ages. It's time to stop and respect ourselves and our bodies today and change the way we think.
We all have a different genetic blueprint and it is not going to change. It is important to respect and accept your body in order to feel better about who you are. When you are unrealistic about your shape, it is hard to accept the way you look. All bodies deserve respect!!! Start with yours! We are made to look different. Not everyone who eats healthy and exercises is going to be skinny. Let's celebrate body diversity!!!

Here's 5 ways to be more positive about your body
Stop comparing yourself to others. To do this, you must challenge your thoughts. When you realize a these thoughts are coming in your mind, stop, change your thinking and be more realistic.
Focus on health, rather than looks. It's important to workout, but are you going for the right reasons. Go to the gym because getting your heart rate up, helps you live a longer life. Don't go to the gym because you need to burn off the Halloween candy you ate.
Follow social media accounts that promote body diversity. Be proactive in what you are looking at everyday. Seek out a broader representation of bodies. Look for those who empower and inspire. A good hashtag I like to follow is #healthateverysize.
Unfollow social media accounts that make you feel bad. If you notice that a certain social media account is making you feel bad about yourself because they are "too perfect", it's ok to hit the unfollow button. You can take a break.
Be grateful for what your body can do. Stop focusing on how you look, and recognize what your body can do for you. It's pretty amazing. Say thank you to your body that gets you going everyday.
Body Acceptance is not always easy. We live in a society that is heavily ingrained in diet culture and tells us to focus on being skinny. It doesn't have to be that way. Keep practicing these tips everyday and getting closer to accepting your body and being grateful for what you have.

Let's have some fun!
