Everyone likes to talk about how nutrition and exercise will help you live longer. These are important, but your personality may be helping you live a longer life, as well!
Studies show there are five personality traits linked to those with a longer lifespan.
You may be thinking, "How can I change my personality?", but with a little work on yourself, you can become more aware of these parts of your personality.
These personality traits are linked to those with a longer life:

5 Personality Traits for Longevity
Conscientiousness. Those who are conscientious, tend to think things through.
Purpose. Those with a purpose have clear goals that energize them.
Optimism. Those who look on the bright side of things tend to be more positive and have less stress.
Extraversion. Being social helps you connect with others which has a strong correlation to longevity.
A lack of neuroticism. Those who are less neurotic have less stress and anxiety.
