You wanna be happy?



This is what I am going to preach until the day I die!!!  Listen up, please! STOP WEIGHING YOURSELF EVERYDAY!!!

 

If you want to have a happier life, you have to start with good habits in the morning and weighing yourself is not one of them. What happens when you weigh yourself in the morning? Does it make you happy? 

 

Weight is not the biggest factor in health so why do we take it as it is.  Being happy with yourself is much more important. 

 

Put the scale away!  You are so much more than a number!


5 reason to stop weighing yourself

 

  1. It can trigger low self-esteem.  Why set your day off wrong? We let the scale tell us our worth.  You are worth more than that number. 

  2. It's not accurate.  Our weight can fluctuate up to 10 pounds in a single day depending on different factors.  This does not represent how much weight loss you have.

  3. Scale does not determine your health. Just because you gain weight, does not mean you are unhealthy and weight loss does not mean you are healthy.  Your weight is not a good factor of health .

  4. The scale doesn't show your real results. It is not a great indicator of anything. When you focus on the scale, you miss out on other results, like better sleep, more energy, less pain and more self-confidence.

  5. It keeps you in the diet mindset. When you are focusing on losing weight, you are not focusing on all factors of health.  You focus on restriction.
